The documentary series about the fastest athletes in the world, ‘Sprint’, finalize the details of your second seasonwhich will premiere November 13 worldwide on Netflix.
In this new episode the story revolves around Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the path taken by the world’s best sprinters to achieve athletics’ greatest glory.
With exclusive photos taken at Stade de France, The second season shows never before ‘behind the scenes’ of racing speed during the Olympic Games.
Many of the athletes who starred in the first season will be there again, such as Noah Lyles Fred Kerley, Marcell Jacobs, Kenny Bednarek and Shericka Jacksonbut new rising stars like the Botswanan also joined Letsile Tebogo and Santa Luceña Julien Alfred.
Tebogo, 21 years old, was one of the great figures of the last Paris Games, where he won gold in the 200-meter race and became first African Olympic champion in a sprint event in the last 100 years. Additionally, he won a silver medal in the 4×400 relay and was received as a hero in his native Botswana.
Julien Alfred, from the tiny Caribbean island of Saint Lucia, won his country’s first medals in Olympic history by winning the 100 meters final with authority and finishing second in the 200 meters.
According to international media reports, the new season of ‘Sprint’ will have at least four episodes of 45 minutes each. The series is produced by Box to Box Films -creators of ‘F1: Drive to survive’, ‘Full swing’, ‘Break point’ and ‘Tour de France: Unchained’ – in association with World Athletics and the Olympic Channel.
