The FIM published this Thursday the provisional 2025 calendar of the MotoGP World Championshiprevealing next season’s dates and circuits.
There will be 22 Grand Prix in 18 countries, including the return of Brno (Czech Republic) and the debut of Balaton Park in Hungary.
After the pre-season test in Sepang and Buriram, The Thai Grand Prix is set to make history for the first season in Southeast Asia in 25 yearsand the first in Thailand.
Then there will be time to recharge before returning to Termas de Río Hondo, in Argentinaand at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
Next, the Lusail International Circuit, in Qatar, is the next stop after the end of Ramadan, before starting the classic stage in Europe with Jerez (April 27) as a prelude to Le Mans.
Another new feature of the calendar is that the Catalunya GP (September 7) and the dates of the Aragon GP (June 8) are exchanged.
The final part of the season will again be marked by the Asian tourstarting at Motegi in Japan, followed by the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Lombok, Indonesia.
A free weekend will allow everyone to recharge before our trip to Australia, where Phillip Island will welcome us to Australian soil, and then the final flyaway will take place in Sepang, Malaysia.
The final two stops of the renewed calendar will take the drivers back to Europe, where the season will conclude with the recently confirmed Portuguese GP at Portimao and the classic closing at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia (November 16).
