The French boy Paul Hennequina ‘classic’ profile rider from French Continental team Nice Métropole Côte d’Azur, the team’s fourth signing. Euskaltel-Euskadi for the 2025 season, as reported by the Basque UCI ProTeam team, the second division of international cycling.
Hennequin (Bordeaux, 2022) is the fourth addition announced by Euskaltel in recent days, after those from Biscay Ander Ganzabalthe British Louis Suttonwho signed for two years, until 2026, and the Gipuzkoan climber Jon Aguirre.

Euskaltel highlights that in 2024 Hennequin achieved many Top 10s in the “competitive French calendar” in tours such as Tour de la Provence, Region Pays de la Loire Tour, 4 Jours de Dunkerque, where he achieved second place, Boucles de la Mayenne , Tour de l’Ain and the classic La Roue Tourangelle.
He also achieved two stage victories in the Tour of Morocco and in 2023 he won the Tour of Algeria.
The sports manager of Euskaltel-Euskadi, Jorge Azanza, considers his new rider “a young French talent who can perform very well in the races in his country, in a calendar that is important” for the Basque team.
“He is a very young, fast rider, especially for the classics, who had good performances that we saw ‘in situ’ in the team participations in France. We think he can have a way and he can make of steps forward with ours” added Azanza.
For Hennequin, for his part, “it means a lot to join and represent the Euskaltel-Euskadi team, which has such a great image and history.”
