The Spanish Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin), double Formula One world champion, will not attend the media this Thursday, as is customary the day before the start of a Grand Prix, in Sao Paulo (Brazil), the twentieth of the 24 that make up the longest championship in history.
As reported this Wednesday by the Silverstone team through its internal media communication channel, “Fernando suffered an intestinal infection before the Mexican Grand Prix (…) and returned to Europe to extend the treatment with a specialist ,” reason why he will not attend the media present this Thursday at the Interlagos circuit in São Paulo.
“The extra day of treatment delayed his travel plans to Brazil, but he made sure of it will be ready to race this weekend,” added the letter from Aston Martin in reference to the Asturian double world champion, who returned to the track where he mathematically celebrated the achievement of his two titles: in 2005 and 2006.
