Patrick Reed, Masters champion in 2018won this Sunday for the first time in nearly four years of Tomorrow in Hong Kongof Asian Circuitclosing the tournament with a return of 4 under par: 66 strokes, for 258 (-12).
Reed took control of the tournament with a 59 on Saturday, when he played on a rain-soaked course. Defending champion Ben Campbell (New Zealand) shot a 65 to finish second.
Reed started the day with a three-stroke lead and made four consecutive birdies on the front nine to distance himself from the rest of the field. It was his first win since the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines in January 2021.
Reed has yet to win an individual title in his three seasons at Saudi-funded LIV Golf. Reed will also play the final two weeks of the Asian Tour in Qatar and the PIF Saudi International.
To the Spanish, Eugenio López Chacarra finished 14th by 8 strokes while the Catalan Carlos Pigem did not make a cut.
