Lando Norris it said it was Thursday Max Verstappen should consider a career as a comedianafter the four-time world champion said he would have won the Formula One title this season too if he had driven for McLaren or Ferrari instead of Red Bull.
Verstappen said after winning his fourth consecutive crown in Las Vegas on Saturday that he could have achieved it sooner with Norris’ McLaren. “I should start doing comedy or something,” said Norris, Verstappen’s closest rival for the title, when asked about the comments ahead of this weekend’s Qatar Grand Prix. “You can say whatever you want. Of course I completely disagree.”he pointed out.
Norris threw a dart at Verstappen. “He has to do everything himself, which is something to take his hat off to”said. “He doesn’t have anyone challenging him. He doesn’t have anyone trying other things with the car. The data is not as valuable when you don’t have someone performing at the same level,” he concluded.
