Scottish midfielder Jordan Holsgrove said goodbye to Celta de Vigo on Monday, the club where he fulfilled his “dream” to make his LaLiga debut against Villarreal in January 2021.
“It’s time to say goodbye after two years at Celta. I am very grateful for the opportunity they gave me and for helping me fulfill one of my dreams to play in LaLiga ”, commented the footballer.
Holsgrove thanked sky-blue fans for all the “huge support” they have given him since he arrived in Balaídos in September 2020, and said he was leaving Vigo after meeting many colleagues he would call friends forever”.
This past season, the midfielder did not count for coach Eduardo “Chacho” Coudet on the first team, so his role was limited to playing in the subsidiary in the First RFEF (35 games, 3079 minutes).
