Honda Luca Marini’s pilot suffered a serious accident during a trial in Japan, in which the hip, knee, chest and shoulders were injured, in addition to suffering a lung collapse, the Japanese team reported Wednesday.
Marini traveled to the Suzuka Circuit after the Great Britain Grand Prix, which was held on the weekend, and Italian tried the Honda motorcycle for the 8 -Hour Suzuka Resistance Race when she suffered a strong accident on the second day of the trial.
“Marini, who suffers a dislocation of the left hip, injury to the left knee ligaments, sternum fractures and left clavicle and a right pneumothorax, has been moved to a local hospital and stable,” said Honda, added that Marini will remain under the observation of Japan until she considers that she is in a position to travel.
Honda did not date for Marini’s return. The 27 -Year -old pilot covers the thirteenth place to classify the motogp after seven twists. The next motogp round is the Aragon Grand Prix, in Spain, on June 7 and 8.
