They ask 18 years in prison for nine former players for rape in group

The nine players were arrested in May 2024 in different cities, some of them no longer played for the club at that time and two got in the middle of a team training, which for the date was among the First division of the Chilean League.

According to the woman’s story at the time of the complaint, she went to the bathroom with one of the players and when she came in she met two other people who kept against her will and took her to another room where there were so many people.

The identities of women and athletes, who have remained at pretense of restraint or total home arrest after one year of research, have not been publicly made.

After the formal accusation, the case will have a hearing on preparation for the subsequent oral test, where the prosecutor’s office must submit all the evidence gathered during the investigation.
