Carlos Alcaraz19, will climb another step in the world rankings on Monday, from number 5 to 4, after defeating the Italian. Giulio Zepperi in the semifinals of ATP in the land of Umag (Croatia) by 7-5, 4-6 and 6-3.
“It’s incredible to be in the final again. I enjoy playing in Umag and I’m very happy with today’s victory,” said the Murcian, who debuted his record last year and will try to defend the title this year Sunday (8:00 pm ) against another Italian, Jannik Sinner (10th).

Carlos eased the ankle sprain he sustained in the second set of the semifinals. “For the moment it’s fine, let’s see tonight or tomorrow morning, but I’m going to say that I’ll be ready for the final”, concluded the Spanish player.
