The cycling team The UAE Emirates announced this Saturday the contract extension of Spanish youngster Juan Ayuso until 2028just six days after the Barcelona rider took his first victory as a professional at the Getxo Circuit (Vizcaya).
“UAE Team Emirates is pleased to announce the extension of Juan Ayudo’s contract, which he has renewed until the end of 2028. He joined the team in mid-2021 as part of the team’s long-term plan to develop young talent,” the team explained on its official page.
UAE Emirates highlights Ayuso, “despite his first season as a professional and being one of the youngest on the circuit, He already got his first victory at the Getxo Circuit“.
Ayuso, 19, is one of the most promising of Spanish cycling and one of the strengths of the Emirati team, whose leader is the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (double winner of the Tour), to face the 2023 competition calendar.
