The government will therefore do everything in its power to guide the sector in this transition. We have a strong and determined commitment to the automotive industry. PERTE has allowed

Paradoxically, however, in this excessively accelerated transition period, we run the risk of the auto industry constraining itself and disregarding the average citizen, who will not have access to these new technologies. In the decisions we make, we must not forget the history of democratization and progress that the car has brought.”

The General Manager of the Ibercaja Foundation,
Joseph Louis Rodrigoconfirmed the importance of this event and emphasized that “he considers it essential to promote initiatives aimed at mobility, such as our avant-garde Mobility City project, which will become the international reference center for sustainable mobility in the future and opens its doors in the first half of 2023»

Similarly,
Francisco J. Riberas, President of SERNACAR, has stated that «the automotive industry is one of the industrial sectors that invests the most in research, development and innovation (R+D+i). Between vehicle and component manufacturers, more than 7% of turnover is invested in R&D&I. Thanks to this strong commitment to innovation, we are realizing the great challenge that everyone is pursuing: sustainable mobility. To produce and market vehicles with more and better features, lighter, safer and more efficient«.

For his part, the chairman of
ANFAC, Wayne Griffiths, stressed that “the mobility of the future is no longer a problem to be solved. We want to move towards a sustainable, free and accessible mobility model for all citizens. The Impulse Awards represent the effort and development of ideas and initiatives by companies and social groups to promote zero-emission mobility, inclusive and open, which is already outlined as a reality in our country«.
