Hyundai is happy with its birthday

Date:

The brand is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special offer in its range, with more equipment and new design details

Hyundai’s history has marked important milestones in both sales and product, where models such as the Hyundai Coupé or the first Hyundai Santa Fe SUV changed the purchasing trend in their market segments. To commemorate Hyundai’s 30-year presence in Spain, the South Korean brand has created the N Line 30th Anniversary special editions for the i10, i20, i30, Kona and Tucson models. All these models have in common the sporty N Line aesthetic, combined with a complete equipment that makes them very attractive.

In 2004, Hyundai introduced the new Tucson model, which was part of a small elite of mid-sized SUVs and created a segment that was beginning to take shape. Now the SUV C-segment is the most popular on the market and the Tucson stands out as a sales leader in a highly competitive SUV segment, thanks to its highly effective design and a wide range of engines and technologies. With the release of the current model in November 2020, the model has completely changed in design and technology. In addition to the 48V diesel and hybrid diesel engines already available, the new 150CV 1.6 TGDI petrol engine was added, also available as a 48V and 180CV hybrid. The major innovations in the model were the 230 hp hybrid electric motor and the 265 hp plug-in hybrid.

The unique design of the Tucson N Line Anniversary, with dark chrome bumpers and grille, stands out at first glance. The grille has an integrated N Line logo and the bumper, which forms the headlamps, is also different, as is the wider lower grille and lower aerodynamic profile. The parametric hidden lights are also uniquely designed by N Line, with a trapezoidal rather than triangular shape, giving the Tucson N Line a more muscular look to the front. In addition, the 19-inch light-alloy wheels under the wheel arches stand out in the same color as the body. The side moldings also disappear, leaving the side clean, just with the N Line logo. The chrome moldings it maintains on the top section are now in metallic black. Inside, the color black and details in red stand out, such as the door panels and seats that combine leather and Alcantara, in black with red stitching and the N logo. The alloy sports pedals and the N Line steering wheel also stand out. a black finish and red stitching, just like the gear lever. The new Tucson N Line Anniversary costs 35,525 euros.

The Kona plays a key role in Hyundai’s electrification strategy, combining electrified powertrains with a compact SUV body. It was Hyundai’s first SUV to have a hybrid version and a fully electric version in its range. In 2020, 48V light hybrid variants with a DGT ECO label were introduced in the Kona range. And to complete the range, the Kona N was introduced in May 2021, combining the SUV body of a Kona with the high performance of the 280hp 2.0 TGDI engine, harmonized with an ultra-sporty frame. This special anniversary edition Kona features 18-inch alloy wheels, oversized brakes, LED headlights, 8-inch touchscreen, rear parking camera, black interior with cloth seats and red stitching. The Kona N Line 30th Anniversary is available with the 120 hp 1.0-litre TGDI petrol engine, for 25,140 euros.

The i30 Line Anniversary version also gets similar contributions and new equipment, with sporty front and rear, body color trim and specific wheel design stand out. The interior is available with an exclusive N Line color package in black with red accents. In addition, the metal pedals and the N logo on the gear lever and on the seats contribute to a sportier look and feel. The front of the i30 N Line is characterized by its bumpers, larger air intakes and a unique grille design. In addition, the body color trim is completed by the 17-inch alloy wheel design. At the rear, the bumper features a large central aerodynamic diffuser in a contrasting colour, as well as a twin exhaust on one side. The i30 N Line 30th Anniversary is available with the 120 hp 1.0 TGDI petrol engine and in a 5-door, Family and Fastback body, from 25,495 euros.

The Hyundai i20 N Line 30th Anniversary is now offered with a new front bumper, grille design and unique air intakes. At the side, the 17-inch two-tone wheels stand out and at the rear a specific bumper that accentuates the width of the car and is finished with a central diffuser and a double chrome exhaust on the side. The interior is available with an N Line color package in black, with red accents and stitching. In addition, the metal pedals, the steering wheel design and the N logo on the gear lever and on the seats contribute to a sportier look and feel. To complete the equipment, among many other elements, it also has a 10.25-inch digital panel, an emergency brake assist system, an active involuntary lane change system, a driver fatigue detector and a rear parking camera. The i20 N Line 30th Anniversary is available with the 85 hp 1.2 MPI petrol engine for 20,700 euros.

The i10 is the smallest model in the Hyundai range, the N Line anniversary version now combines a sportier design and driving experience thanks to elements such as a completely redesigned front end, with a more aggressively designed bumper and grille with red hues and LED daytime running lights. On the side, the N Line logo stands out on the front wings and the i10 decal in red. The rear bumper is also exclusive with a small diffuser marked with a red line and a twin chrome exhaust at the rear. The 16-inch wheels are also exclusive to the N Line trim. Inside, we find details such as the seams of the upholstery and exhausts of the vents in red, metal pedals, new design of the steering wheel, the gear knob and the seats with the N logo, elements that contribute to a sportier look and feel. In addition, it has Display Audio with 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto/Apple Car Play wireless connection and rear parking camera. The i10 N Line 30th Anniversary is available with the 1.2-litre petrol engine with 85 hp, for 18,990 euros.
