The result is instant response and more precise control. The One Motion Grip system includes a new Steering Yoke wheel, which replaces the traditional wheel. Steer-by-Wire technology requires less effort from the driver: only a 150-degree turn is needed to make a full left or right turn, avoiding hand-over-hand turns. The new Steering Yoke steering wheel gives the driver a better view of the instrument panel and the road ahead. Lexus designers took advantage of this aspect to position the gauges higher and farther back than would have been possible with a conventional steering wheel, reducing the need for the driver to adjust their field of view.
