Ducati will produce 260 units of the Panigale V4 Bagnaia and another 260 units of the Bautista 2022 World Champion Replica, and they will bear the signatures of the pilots
Ducati celebrates the double victory of the MotoGP and WorldSBK titles by creating two special series of Panigale V4 motorcycles inspired by the Desmosedici GP and the Panigale V4 R of world champions Francesco Bagnaia and Álvaro Bautista. The commemorative bikes were unveiled during the press conference anticipating ‘Campioni in Piazza2’, the event in which Ducati celebrates this historic double achievement with its fans.
2022 has been an incredible year for Ducati. The Bolognese company is world champion, for the first time in its history, in both MotoGP and WorldSBK in the same season. A dream result that came true thanks to the exceptional work of the engineers, teams and drivers. A double triumph that Ducati wanted to celebrate with two unique collection models.
The two special series, made from the basis of the Panigale V4 S, will feature the decorations of the Pecco Bagnaia #63 and Álvaro Bautista #19 motorcycles. Each bike in the range is unique with the rider’s original signature on the tank, which is then protected with a coat of clear coat. Produced in a limited and numbered series, the two bikes celebrate Ducati’s birth year in their production numbers. In fact, each series will have only 260 units, in honor of 1926, the year the Bolognese company was founded.
Like the race bikes they are inspired by, the Panigale V4 2022 World Champion Replica models are only offered in a single-seat configuration and are enhanced with a machined aluminum upper triple clamp with the model name and serial number laser engraved. Technical equipment includes the application of the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch with nine discs, legal Akrapovič muffler (2 kg lighter than the original unit on the Panigale V4), upgraded Brembo braking system with Stylema R calipers and master cylinder. with remote control, adjustable footrests in Rizoma machined aluminum and plexiglass racing screen.
Other technical details that characterize these special bikes include the rear exhaust manifold heat shield, alternator cover, front and rear fenders and front brake ducts, all made of carbon fiber. The cover that protects the single-sided swingarm is also made of carbon fiber, combined with titanium. Finally, the series dedicated to Álvaro Bautista #19 has the polished aluminum tank that equip the most refined versions of the Panigale V4.
Each bike comes in an exclusive graphical packaging and includes a certificate of authenticity, a personalized motorcycle cover and the Ducati Data Analyzer+ data acquisition system.
