pioneering business model in the two-wheeler sector -the first to be launched in Europe- that allows the customer to reduce the purchase price of the vehicle and adapt it to its use.
Until now, the automotive and motorcycle industries have fully marketed their products. From this moment on, a new path opens: acquisition
on the one hand, the motorcycle, which will be the property of the buyer;while the battery stays out of Silence.
In this way, the public can enjoy all the benefits of a Silence, but
less than the cost of a petrol model right from the start. For example, the Silence S01 – the best-selling electric motorcycle in Spain in 2021 – with the Battery as a Service (BaaS) program and the 1,100 euro discount from the Moves III Plan costs only 2,750 euros (more than 1,000 euros less). than a comparable combustion). For this price, all you have to do is add up the subscription fee of 15 euros per month, which includes two full charge cycles per month (which will allow you to travel about 200 kilometers). Each additional charge cycle costs 5 euros.
The other big novelty that Silence has already launched is the Battery Station. Customers who choose the motorcycle purchase system with the
battery by subscription, they can change it when they need (usually when they have consumed some of the autonomy provided by a charge cycle). The operation is very simple and fast. To do this, they just need to go to the exchange points that the company creates in Spain.
The first to be operational is in the center of Barcelona, but new points will be launched in Silence’s national distribution network in the coming months. The next one will be Madrid and will have, in addition to the network itself, other public and private spaces, as will be the case with some B:SM public car parks, a project in progress.
