The compact dimensions provide great freedom of movement and manoeuvrability
The 100% electric AMI and My AMI Cargo are vehicles designed to meet the specific needs of their potential customers and evolve to better adapt to the use of individuals and companies. An example is Lisbon Airport, where these four-wheelers have been modified by adding solar panels on the roof to make their use even more sustainable from an environmental point of view.
In concrete terms, My Ami Cargo combines loading capacity, the functionality of a mobile office and the advantages of electric power: zero CO2 emissions for clean mobility, without polluting emissions and of course with very low operating and operating costs. Its compact dimensions provide great freedom of movement and manoeuvrability. With an easy charge, done in just 3 hours from a conventional wall outlet, they have a 5.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that powers their 6 kW electric motor. The maximum autonomy, of 75 kilometers, is perfectly suited for travel in urban and suburban environments, as well as for the daily professional operations required at airports.
For example, the 11 units of My AMI Cargo and the 2 units of the AMI acquired by Portway, the first handling company licensed to provide airport infrastructure services in Portugal, are adapted to the day-to-day needs of the company’s operations and have a particularly distinctive element. All vehicles are equipped with a solar panel to make their daily airport management tasks even more environmentally friendly. This solar panel makes it possible to power the various mobile equipment used, i.e. the portable printer and the PDA, as well as the rotary controls of the vehicle, in addition to supplying power to 3 220V AC sockets and 2 USB outputs.
The first units of the Citroën My AMI Cargo, the four-wheeler for professional use that Portway has acquired as part of the decarbonisation strategy of its fleet of motorized vehicles operating in airport infrastructure, are already in service at Lisbon Airport. The airports of Porto, Faro and Funchal will follow.
