The ID. Buzz maintains the Volkswagen DNA, but is presented as a unique and different model in design, creating a new product category that opens up new segments and attracts traditional customers and new customers to the brand.

The ID. Buzz is disruptive not only from a design point of view, but also from a technology standpoint. Built in Hanover on the Volkswagen Group’s MEB modular electric drive platform, the ID. Thanks to the long wheelbase, Buzz benefits from all the advantages of this platform in terms of exterior design and maximum use of interior space. The vehicle has a compact length of 4,712 mm and a long wheelbase of 2,988 mm, making it extremely comfortable for life on board and can be equipped with the latest technologies and driving assistants.

The new ID. Buzz debuts in 2 bodies, ID. Buzz, for passenger transport, and ID. Buzz Cargo, as a 100% electric delivery van with great autonomy. At launch, both will share the same 150 kW (204 hp) electric motor and equip a battery with a net capacity of 77 kWh (82 kWh gross), with an ultra-fast charging capacity of up to 170 kW, which equates to charging from 5% to 80% of the battery in just 30 minutes.

The ID. Buzz Cargo is the first commercial variant of the ID family. Being an electric vehicle from the start, it has the advantage of being the only electric light commercial vehicle on the market with an autonomy of more than 400 km (414 km), a payload of 4 cubic meters and a payload of 650 kg . It is offered with 3 seats (2 optional).

The PRO version of the ID. Buzz is the passenger version, which is offered from the start with 5 standard seats on a wheelbase of 4.7 meters and has a complete standard equipment and a different and exclusive proposal in terms of appearance. The autonomy of this version is 418 kilometers and has a consumption of 20.8 kWh per 100 kilometers.

The first units of ID. Buzz comes at the end of the year and costs €56,140, ​​the ID. Buzz Cargo, (without aid or discounts. Vehicle subsidized with the Moves III Plan between €7,000 and €9,000) and €61,480 for the ID. Buzz PRO, (without help or discounts).
