Baby cat “Mathilda” got an artificial thigh. This was caused by a serious accident. After her recovery, she hopes for a loving home.
Little “Mathilda” is still a kitten, but has been through more in her short life than most of her adult counterparts. She was taken to animal shelter Vösendorf seriously injured after being found on the street. Nobody knows exactly what happened to her. An accident involving a car is suspected.

Because after the initial examination, it turned out that “Mathilda’s” femur was so complicated that it had to be replaced with an artificial femur and screwed in from the outside.

The good news: young cats have a very good chance of healing without complications. “Mathilda” has to hold on with the screws in her leg for a while, but then she can be placed in about a month.
