Finally, relief and – in the truest sense of the word – a big sigh of relief from the neighbors of a residential building in Innsbruck: After months of odor nuisance, the “stinking ghost” has now apparently been admitted to the clinic.
The “stinky ghost” has disappeared, reports the troubled neighbor, who has already complained several times to the “Krone” about the latest developments in the field of “stench in the hallway”. As reported, the entire floor had been occupied for months by a pungent smell of urine, rotten eggs and feces, the editors could see for themselves on site. The stench apparently came from an apartment where a sick, elderly man lived who did not want to be helped.
From the property management to the magistrate to the police, helplessness was pronounced towards the “Krone”: they didn’t know what to do – so they did nothing at first.
Man was probably taken to hospital
For months, the retiree felt nauseous walking down the hall. Many scented sprays – and the resulting aggravation of her lung disease – later it all happened in quick succession: “The locksmith was there, then came the rescue,” the woman told the “Tiroler Krone”. Especially the rescue from the pungent stench. The man was probably taken to the clinic, nothing else is known.
“The paramedics said – I heard that from the balcony – that the man had maggots in his leg!” A circumstance that is more common in diabetics than you might think. In any case, the inhabitants of the house can finally breathe again. And hopefully the man will now also be helped professionally.
