A car crashed into a wedding party in western Canada, killing two people. Ten other people were injured in the incident on Saturday night (local time) near Vancouver, local media reported, according to police. Two of them are in critical condition.
The driver of the car drove off a communal driveway in the neighboring house, accelerated the car and then turned it in on several wedding guests. The woman, who is in her sixties, is cooperating with the police.
“It doesn’t seem to have been intentional”
No charges have been filed against the woman yet. “It doesn’t appear to have been intentional or a crime. It just seems like an accident and a very, very sad situation,” Jeremy Duncan, a deputy fire chief, told Global News.
