A tragic accident occurred in Weiz (Styria) on Monday afternoon. A 67-year-old pedestrian was hit by a bus and suffered serious head injuries.
The 67-year-old woman from the Weiz district walked home with her husband on a sidewalk on the main square in Weiz on Monday afternoon around 1.30 p.m. towards Göttelsbergweg. At the same time, a 58-year-old bus driver, also from the Weiz district, drove his vehicle into Grazer Strasse, coming from the main square.
The back of the bus swerved over the sidewalk and caught the pedestrian. The woman fell and suffered serious head injuries. After the first treatment, she was taken to the LKH Weiz for treatment.
