Fatal adventure: A six-year-old girl from Germany was seriously injured while playing in a stream in the Tyrolean village of Hinterriss. The child had to be taken to hospital by ambulance.
The girl stayed with her mother and some relatives on Monday evening in a stream bed west of the Binsalm in Hinterriss. It then happened shortly after 7 p.m.: In the area of the sofa, a larger stone came loose and fell directly on the child.

The next of kin immediately called for an emergency. After initial treatment, the six-year-old was flown by emergency helicopter to the Schwaz district hospital with a suspected serious leg injury.
