Ukraine will celebrate the day of its blue-and-yellow national flag on Tuesday. Wednesday is Independence Day. The date coincides with half a year of the Russian invasion, which began on February 24. Explosions over Sevastopol
As in the previous nights, Russian air defenses in Crimea were deployed against suspected Ukrainian drones on Monday. Residents heard explosions over Sevastopol, home to the Russian Black Sea Fleet. “An object was shot down at a great height. Therefore, the noise could be heard in different parts of the city,” the head of the administration, Mikhail Rasvozhayev, wrote on Telegram. There were no reports of damage. In Kiev, an adviser to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Mykhailo Podoliak, announced that the intensity of such attacks would increase.
