Texas City School Board laid off this Wednesday to Uvalde School District Police Chief Pete Arredondo for his failed answer to the shooting at the local elementary school on May 24. 21 people were killedincluding 19 boys and girls.
It took the officers nearly an hour and a quarter to take down the attacker since they entered the school.
Arredondo’s departure culminates in a three-month investigation. The resignation was voted unanimously in an audience of parents and survivors of the massacre.
Last month, a special committee of the Texas House of Representatives released a report showing that the “horribly bad” management? of the Uvalde security forces.
