Harassment at Work – Acquittal: No Evidence of Sexual Accusations

Three women were allegedly harassed at work by 59-year-olds. In Krems (Lower Austria) he is in the dock for a series of sex crimes – he wants to be innocent. Surprisingly, the court also sees it this way: acquittal!

Because there wasn’t enough fun in his own marriage, he looked for alternatives at work. And found her – including by exposing herself to female employees and masturbating. That’s the charge. Now the department head of a company in Lower Austria had to answer for sexual harassment, serious bodily harm and violation of sexual self-determination in the LG Krems.

Accusations are revenge campaign
The 59-year-old is said to have harassed three women for years, one of whom was his sister-in-law. There were also clear verbal messages and requests. One had sexual intercourse multiple times. “Not guilty,” he pleaded: it was about revenge attacks against him.

Surprising acquittal
In the dock, he then admitted possible wrongdoing: “I went too far,” he apologized to a victim, only to make another unequivocal offer days later. – Surprising verdict: acquittal when in doubt.
