While dinner was on the stove, there was a fire in an apartment building in Jochberg (Tirolean district of Kitzbühel) on Tuesday. Two women were then taken to hospital.
At around 9:20 p.m., the fire broke out in the kitchen of an apartment complex in Jochberg. The local volunteer fire brigade responded and quickly extinguished the fire. However, the 55-year-old owner of the apartment and a neighbor (55) probably inhaled light smoke. They were taken to hospital by ambulance.
The extent of damage caused by the fire has not yet been determined. 25 emergency services and 4 vehicles of the Jochberg fire brigade and several paramedics with three cars were deployed.
