A 64-year-old taxi driver found the seriously injured Russian on Thursday morning around 03.30 am at a zebra crossing at Mariatroster Strasse 164d. Due to the emergency situation, he himself took him to the LKH Graz by taxi. There, the Russian, who lives in Graz, immediately received medical help.

Due to the pattern of neck injuries, the hospital informed the police station at Riesplatz around noon. The criminal department of the Police Command of the City of Graz then took over the investigation.
