The Burgenland police held nationwide grid squares on Friday and Saturday. Eight drivers had too much alcohol – especially a resident of Eisenstadt (2.2 per mille). A 20-year-old without a driver’s license was driving an unregistered car.
Over the two days, 115 police officers checked about 1,150 vehicles. Eight people drove under the influence of alcohol. The highest value was measured in a woman from Eisenstadt, she had 2.2 per thousand in the blood. Of course she was not allowed to drive any further and her driver’s license was confiscated.

In addition, 273 complaints were filed and 335 criminal orders were issued. 285 vehicles were flashed, they expect a display as well as 88 drivers who did not keep the minimum distance.
