The European Central Bank will decide this Thursday will interest rates rise again?and if so, to what extent.
On July 21, the ECB decided to raise interest rates by 50 basis points, the first increase since the same month in 2011.
As explained by President Christine Lagarde, such an increase would help achieve the European goal of: 2% inflation in the medium term.
After less than two months, on the return of the working year, the Central Bank will analyze the impact of the historic increase in July, and will assess the possibility of increasing the points again.
