A drug dealer from the Burgenland district of Güssing brutally assaulted a customer and a police informant. To intimidate the witness, the alleged perpetrator (38) threatened him with a shovel and shot the victim with a gas pressure pistol. Alarmed SIG troops arrested the suspect.
The narcotics investigation team in the Güssing district had been chasing the dealer for a long time. When the sidewalk got too hot for the 38-year-old, a regular got in his way.
Attacked with a shovel
The drug dealer accused the buyer of revealing secret details about his illegal trade to the police. The dealer was shocked. He jumped at the customer with a shovel, pulled out a gas pistol and fired several shots at the victim at close range.
The dealer’s brutal methods came to light when the threatened drug buyer was subpoenaed by police. During the interrogation, the victim described the dramatic scenes. “The dealer shot me three times with a gas pistol from a distance of less than two meters,” the victim said. After consultation with the Eisenstadt prosecutor’s office, alarmed officials of the Rapid Intervention Group (SIG) arrested the alleged perpetrator at his home address.
Attack dog locked up
Upon further investigation, the detectives were confronted with the suspect’s attack dog. During the officially ordered search, the Staffordshire Terrier had to be taken. Two Glock pistols and a Walther P99 were seized.
The gas pistol and shovel used in the dangerous threat were found in the dealer’s car. The officers also discovered cannabis flowers, cannabis resin, packaging material with traces of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia.

The alleged dealer admitted the attack on his customer. When it came to drug trafficking, he gave in only to a limited extent. The 38-year-old placed an ad. He’s free again.
