A huge concrete pump truck had fallen into a dangerously inclined position on Monday. 25 firefighters rushed to this hugely challenging mission in Styria.
The Bad Waltersdorf volunteer fire brigade was alerted to the Bad Waltersdorf area in the morning. The heavy concrete pump truck was already in danger of tipping over.
Difficult to use
Concrete safety measures were immediately taken with cable winches to prevent the vehicle from overturning. As the operation proved to be technically very complex, a private towage company and FF Hartberg’s comrades were alerted. With joined forces, the vehicle was safely put back on its wheels after two hours.
