The operator of a postal partner company in Obernberg am Inn in Upper Austria was threatened with a gun by an unknown robber on Wednesday evening. The assailant took the money from the safe and fled. A search was launched without success.
A 51-year-old German was staying with his wife of the same age at a post office in Obernberg am Inn around 8:05 p.m. Wednesday when he noticed noises at the rear entrance. He opened the door and was immediately threatened with a gun by a suspect wearing a motorcycle helmet. The unknown assailant pushed the 51-year-old back into the property and presented him with a note demanding money.

The victim opened the safe and the unknown perpetrator put all the money in a container he had taken with him. He escaped through the back entrance in an unknown direction. The victim’s wife had meanwhile hidden in the property of the object. The search for the culprit has so far been unsuccessful.
Perpetrator description: Man, approx. 185 cm tall, slim build, wearing a black motorcycle helmet and black motorcycle gloves. He didn’t say a word and carried a black pistol.
