With the Ideas!Reich funding campaign, the Styrian Agency for Economic Development is now supporting the development and implementation of new business ideas – especially digital and sustainable products. Styrian companies are constantly producing intelligent new products, processes and services. On working days, the SFG receives an application for innovation financing every 36 hours on average. Between 400 and 500 patents are registered every year. Because doing business in the 21st century means innovation. If you want to be successful, you have to be able to anticipate trends and, if possible, shape future developments yourself.
New ideas brighten up any business. If step one is a good business idea and the project ends with a salable product, then there is a middle ground – and the SFG is funding Ideas!Reich.
Ideas!Rich XS: tailor-made for small, fine ideas
The promotion module “Ideas! Kingdom XS” is tailor-made to initiate, supervise and directly implement smaller innovations. Do you have plans for a prototype that you want to develop further with a team of experts? Are you planning to develop a new and innovative business model for your company? Do you want to get your company certified to enter a new industry? Perhaps you also want to have an innovation-oriented master’s thesis or thesis carried out or submit an EU project? Please contact the SFG.
For project costs up to 20,000 euros, you will receive a maximum of 70 percent subsidy, so a maximum of 14,000 euros. For example, internal personnel costs for project work, costs for materials made during the construction of prototypes or costs for external (consultancy) services such as feasibility studies, business model development, industrial design, patent research or writing EU project applications can be settled with you. By the way: Companies with digitization or sustainability projects receive a bonus that increases the amount of financing.

For larger innovation projects and their implementation “Ideas! Realm XL” just the right choice. Create a demo install, beta, or prototype. Launch your product or service and try a new business model at the same time. In the Ideas!Reich XL module, you receive a subsidy percentage of a maximum of 50 percent or a maximum subsidy amount of 75,000 euros.

Deadlines – we’re looking for the best
Funding in the Ideas!Reich campaign will be awarded in cut-off mode. This means that you submit your projects no later than certain dates, the so-called cut-off dates. The SFG then makes a time-cut (cut off = English cut off), looks at all projects submitted so far and evaluates them – the best are then supported. The next closing date for the module “Ideas! Kingdom XS” is October 17, 2022, for the module“Ideas! Realm XL” is it November 8, 2022
