In the Pinzgau in Salzburg, the emergency services have to carry out two separate searches. After a woman had been searched for a woman in the vicinity of Lake Zell since Saturday afternoon, a new search began at night for a 57-year-old Pinzgauer who had not come home from work.
The 57-year-old left his workplace around 1.30 p.m. on Saturday, but did not return home. He was reported missing at 10 p.m., a police spokesman said.
The fire brigade, fire brigade and police of Bramberg, Hollersbach and Mittersill started to search. The man’s bicycle was found on an embankment of the Salzach. He traveled between Mittersill and Bramberg.
“Depending on the weather, a police helicopter or a flying drone will bolster the search of the emergency services,” Pinzgau Civil Protection Officer Manfred Höger said: “This morning’s activities are focused on the area near the Gries power station in the municipality of Bruck an der Glocknerstraße. Höger reported, where the stakes come together.
Search for wife continues
On Sunday, the search continued on the Zeller See for a woman whose clothes had been left behind on the Zeller See on Thursday or Friday. Water rescue, Red Cross and fire brigade from Zell am See were in action with divers and sonar equipment.
In Kaprun, a search that started early Sunday morning has already ended: a 22-year-old was found.
