Apparently he was even prepared to run over a police officer. In the Mühlviertel region of Upper Austria, a wanted Czech tried every possible way to escape – later he was too drunk to be interrogated.
The 48-year-old Czech wanted to drive “behind Freistadt” over the border to his home country on Sunday night when the police tried to stop him. Because his car had already been searched for, he had been involved in an accident with a collision in Linz.
But the wanted person wouldn’t stop, but drove straight to the cop, turned behind him and came back. The officer had to jump twice to avoid being hit by the car.
After ten minutes the escape was over and colleagues of the police officer who had called for help were able to stop the car. This included the Czech, who had drunk 2.10 per mille. He couldn’t answer why he made the crazy trip – he was just too drunk to talk sensibly.
