A violent argument broke out in Brixlegg on Monday evening between a Turkish taxi driver (43) and his two passengers. According to his own statements, the taxi driver was arrested by one of the two around 8.30 pm. Meanwhile, the second hit him in the face several times. The 43-year-old suffered a bleeding injury to his face.

While the police were on the scene recording the facts, a 29-year-old heavily intoxicated Austrian came by. He identified himself as one of the two passengers. “According to his own statements, he only wanted to settle the quarrel,” said the police. Moments later, the alleged second passenger also appeared. It was a 41-year-old man. He was also heavily intoxicated and reported to the police that he had been attacked by the taxi driver. The 41-year-old’s partner, 29, also came and wanted to help officials record his data.

Woman threatened to kill
“He then became aggressive and threatened to kill the woman. The 41-year-old also tried to throw a shield cap and an ashtray at the 29-year-old, but the officers were able to prevent this,” said the police. He was eventually arrested. During his arrest, he kicked one of the officers in the leg, injuring his knee.

A breath analysis revealed that he was heavily intoxicated. The man was released after the interrogation. He was released after consultation with the public prosecutor. The injured police officer was treated at Kufstein Hospital.
