The current Brand Reach study confirms time and again: The “Krone” is the clear number 1 in the daily newspaper market. With a reach of 40.4 percent, the “Krone” reaches almost 3.1 million Austrians across the country every day. This means that four out of ten Austrians are provided with current, relevant and regional information on a daily basis. Austria’s largest private radio station “kronehit” supplements the “Krone” media channels and, in combination with print and digital, increases the daily national coverage to 48.4 percent. When it comes to range, the “Krone” is in charge!
Regional & strong – the “Krone” convinces!
The Krone also shows its strength regionally. We are particularly proud of the top positions we have achieved in the densely populated eastern regions of Austria. In the states of Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland, the daily reach is 42 percent. In the region of Styria and Carinthia this is even 46.4 percent, followed by Upper Austria and Salzburg with 40.5 percent.
High awareness and loyal users
Of the fame the “Kronen Zeitung” is embedded in the Austrian population 88 percent and thus clearly ahead of all other newspapers. krone.at has a reputation of 76 percent and is therefore a leader in the field of news portals.
