The compressor station Basque Country located in Iran (Gipuzkoa) extends from November 1 in Another 1.5 billion cubic meters.

With this 18% increase in the total gas supply capacity from Spain to Europe, Spain will start exporting to France the equivalent of 6% of its gas consumption.
The Vice President of the Government and Minister for the Ecological Transition and Demographic Challenge, Teresa Ribera, visited this infrastructure, “the key” to send natural gas to France through the bidirectional gas pipeline, together with the CEO of Enagás, Arturo Gonzalo from Iran .
“The station is technically already prepared to send that gas when the French request it,” Ribera explained to the media after visiting the Euskadour gas pipeline facilities, which join the Bahía de Bizkaia Gas (BBG) regasification plant. Bilbao and the Gaviota storage facility in Bermeo, with the underground storage in Lussagnet (France).
The new configuration of the station with the commissioning of a new compressor will be fully operational on November 1, as it is already technically prepared, but it is necessary to make adjustments with the French system and the commercialization by part of the operators.
