Caritas and the “Krone” say thank you! More than EUR 100,000 has already been raised as part of the donation of the climate bonus.
The honesty campaign of “Krone” with “Ein FunkenWärme” and Caritas for people in need has been running for a few days. Under the motto “Do I need that?” people are called upon to donate the climate bonus for those who often have to choose between heating and eating.
The success has been enormous, as Klaus Schwertner, Executive Caritas Director of the Archdiocese of Vienna, confirms: “The response has been overwhelming! Our phones are ringing, emails are pouring in and we are getting countless messages from people who have already donated.” So far it is more than 100,000 euros!
And now you can not only give the monetary value, but also specifically support families with climate bonus vouchers. Just stop at Caritas centers such as mother-child shelters or the crypt for the homeless and hand them in.
