The Ministry of Education of the Basque Government this Friday released the Public Labor Supply (OPE) of merit competition with 3178 places for teachers. Applications can be submitted between on October 3 and 31, as the ministry headed by Jokin Bildarratz specified in a note.
Out of 3100 seats almost half (1532) are intended for teachers of Secondary education, while about a thousand (specifically 1,289) belong to the body of male and female teachers. The rest is divided into different specialisms, such as vocational training (260 places), official language schools, music or visual arts teachers.
Interested parties must present their merits, including the previous teaching experience (maximum seven points), academic background (maximum three points) and the fact that have overcome an opposition in the same specialty of the body for which it was chosen (five points).
In addition, before the end of the year, the Ministry of Education will publish the calls for the teaching staff competition and the labor competition (Special Education and Kitchen and Cleaning), with an estimate of nearly 4,000 places.
