A young woman from the Mühlviertel, who has only had her driver’s license for ten days, has had a serious accident on the B3 near St. Nikola. She crashed her car into an overcrowded tour bus.
The 17-year-old driver was seriously injured on Saturday in a collision with an oncoming bus on Donaustraße (B3) in the village of Hirschenau. According to the National Police, the woman only had a driving license for ten days.
The 17-year-old suddenly drove her car into the oncoming lane and collided with the fully occupied bus. Fortunately, the driver and occupants were unharmed.
Thrown into stream bed
The 17-year-old’s car ended up in a ditch after the collision and remained there in a stream bed. After the first aid, the woman from Bad Kreuzen was taken to the Amstetten clinic.
