Since Sunday, 8,080 new infections with the corona virus have been reported to the ministries. Two other people infected with the virus died.
In hospitals, the occupancy rate in the normal wards increased by 184 places (1626 in total), the number of patients in intensive care by three (71 patients in total). Compared to the previous week, there were 10,913 new infections in Austria on the same day.

The data reflects what happens between midnight and midnight of the respective event day before wider.
