Chechen leader publishes video showing military training given to minors under 14, 15 and 16

“Age should not interfere with the formation of our country’s defenders.” This is the view of the leader of Russia’s Chechnya region, Ramzan Kadirov, who announced on Monday that he will send three of his sons, aged 14, 15 and 16, to the war in Ukraine. The teens started their military training “very early” and this Wednesday, Kadirov posted a video on Telegram showing how the youths handle weapons.

Teenagers learn a lot. “It’s not enough to know how to shoot. They learn how to handle different weapons, how to use them at any distance and the theoretical basis,” says the Chechen leader, who always believed that “the main goal of every parent is to instill piety in their children and learn to protect the family, the people, the country. If you want peace you have to prepare for war!”

Akhmat, Eli and Adam (aged 16, 15 and 14, respectively) “are ready to use their skills,” Kadyrov claims. “And I’m not kidding. It’s time to show yourself in a real fight, and this is your wish. They go to the front line and are in the most difficult sections of the contact line at the front.
