Hoping for clues – the disappearance of Tyroleans is a mystery for the police

Date:

There is still no trace of the 57-year-old man from Natters in Tirol (Innsbruck-Land district), who has been missing for more than a week. According to the police, all searches so far have been unsuccessful – including the inn and the quarry pond. Investigators are still hoping for clues.

The 57-year-old has disappeared without a trace since the end of March. After concerned relatives reported the man missing, his car – a white Mazda 3 – was discovered on the night of April 1 in Rossau in Innsbruck near the lake.

Wanted waters, also helicopter in action
“We have started investigations and appropriate search measures. All of these were unsuccessful,” said a researcher in an interview with “Krone”. The inn and quarry lake were also searched by the water rescue service with divers, and the police helicopter was also deployed.

On Saturday afternoon, police finally published a photo of the missing person – including a call for witnesses. “Unfortunately, no one has come forward so far,” the researcher concluded.

Useful information for the police inspectorate in Mutters (tel.: 059 133-7118) or the state police of Tyrol (tel.: 059 133/70 3333).
