Pistorius warns: – Russia could soon attack NATO territory

Date:

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius suspects evil. In a few years, Russia could attack NATO territory, he warns. In any case, there are no signs that the armed conflict will disappear. Moscow and Kiev covered each other again with swarms of drones on Sunday.

“If we ignore the threat because it makes us uncomfortable, it will not become smaller, but bigger,” Pistorius told the newspapers of media group Funke, according to the advance report. No military attack by Russia on NATO is currently expected. However, Kremlin boss Vladimir Putin has consistently turned to a war economy. Russia therefore produces more weapons and ammunition in just a few months than all the countries of the European Union combined in a year.

“From 2029 or 2030, Putin could have armed himself in such a way that Russia could attack NATO.” The minister warns: “We should also expect that Putin will be attacked in the coming years through an advance in one way or another “It could test how united NATO really is.”

Russia again in the crosshairs of drones
42 Ukrainian drones reached the Russian regions of Oryol, Rostov, Bryansk, Kursk and Krasnodar on Sunday. “Thanks to the quick response, it was fortunately possible to avoid the consequences of the attack – the fire was quickly localized and has now been completely extinguished,” Governor Andrei Klychkov wrote on Telegram. There were no casualties or serious damage, he assured. According to Klychkov, Russian air defenses shot down about twenty drones.

The tank farm near the town of Stalnoi Kon was attacked a week ago. The Kiev military justified the attack by saying the reservoirs were being used to supply the Russian army. The camp also supplies the Druzhba oil pipeline to Europe.

Russia is advancing in Ukraine
The Kremlin fired significantly more drones at Ukraine. As the Ukrainian military announced on Telegram, Russian forces had launched 103 drones at targets in Ukraine. According to the Ukrainian military, one drone left Ukrainian airspace towards Belarus and 44 drones were lost.

Russian forces have regained control of two cities in eastern Ukraine, according to the government in Moscow. The villages of Losova in the Kharkov region and Sontsivka in Donetsk have been captured, Russian state news agencies report based on the Ministry of Defense. Such information about the fighting cannot be independently verified. However, Russian troops have been steadily advancing in eastern Ukraine for some time.
