On Monday afternoon, a 21-year-old alerted the police in Vienna-Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus. The reason: The woman had stabbed her 22-year-old boyfriend with a knife. The cause of the attack is still under investigation.
When emergency services arrived at the apartment on Hütteldorfer Strasse, the 22-year-old was lying on the ground with serious injuries. He had a stab wound to the left upper body and was treated on site by the Vienna professional rescue service. Emergency services then took him to a hospital. The 22-year-old is not in a life-threatening condition.
Eating knife as a murder weapon
During the subsequent search of the apartment, the police officers found the suspected murder weapon, an eating knife. The 21-year-old was no longer in the apartment at the time of the operation, but was already on the run.
