Biden withdraws by assuring he does not believe Russia will use nuclear weapons in Ukraine

The US president says Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade Ukraine was a misjudgment, though he believes his Russian counterpart is “a rational actor.”

After the President of the United States raised the alarm about a possible ‘nuclear Armageddon’, Joe Bidenhas said he does not believe that Russia will use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, although he assures that it would be irresponsible to threaten them, as Putin has done, and could lead to “catastrophic” mistakes.

On that occasion, the US president indicated that his Russian counterpart in situation where it is difficult to find a way outespecially after the latest military setbacks in Ukraine, and is probably looking for face-saving solutions.
