On Friday evening, several young people in the Eggenberg district of Graz apparently deliberately called on the fire brigade and police: they activated the fire alarm in a residential building, sprayed a fire extinguisher and fled.
At around 9.30 pm, initially unknown young people caused a stir in a student house on Eckertstrasse. They gained access to the house, sprayed a fire extinguisher and activated the fire alarm. Then they hurried away and fled on foot.

But two eyewitnesses, ages 21 and 24, noticed the crime and immediately alerted the police. The 24-year-old eventually gave chase to the youngsters, where he briefly held a girl.
Girl known to the police
However, the teen vigorously defended herself against the attempt to stop her by kicking her pursuer between the legs and biting his hand. The girl eventually managed to escape. However, the photo of the girl taken by a witness should soon lead to the investigation and interrogation of the girl known to the police and her two accomplices.
