Artyom Uss was arrested in Italy, Moscow confirmed on Thursday — he is the son of Krasnoyarsk governor Alexander Uss. The arrest was made at Washington’s Malpensa airport on Monday at Washington’s request. “Our diplomatic missions will of course participate in protecting the interests of this Russian citizen,” Peskov said on Friday.
On Wednesday, US judges charged about a dozen people with selling US technology to Russia, some of which Washington says were used in the war in Ukraine.
